Edward A. ("Ted") Brown graduated from Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts in 1980. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York in 1984, and graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 1987. Mr. Brown divides his time between the main office in Brunswick, the "winter office" at Sugarloaf U.S.A., and the "summer office" in Georgetown, Maine. Mrs. Brown is the Superintendent of Schools for the City of Augusta. The Browns have three children, and one grandchild.
Benet Pols resides in Brunswick, Maine with his wife and children. Mr. Pols graduated from Brunswick High School in 1979, from Williston--Northampton School in 1980, from Middlebury College in 1986, and from the George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia in 1991. Mrs. Pols teaches elementary school in Woolwich, Maine.
Our paralegal assistant, Sharon Greene, first started as a legal secretary upon graduation from Mt. Ararat high school (in Topsham, Maine) in 1986. She started working for Mr. Brown at Kohler & Brown in 1991, and obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Casco Bay College in Portland, Maine in 1998. Mrs. Greene resides with her husband and two children in Bowdoinham. Clients are encouraged to deal with Mrs. Greene as much as possible to help save on their legal fees.
Rylie P. Dog joined Mr. Brown's solo practice in June of 1998 at the age of four months. A yellow-eyed razorback, she is in charge of office security. Tucker K. Dog joined the office over Christmas in 2007. A "false lab", he is in training to receive the mail.
