We represent clients in a variety of other matters, including Probate proceedings, (both involving Wills and "intestate proceedings" for people who died without a Will), real estate and construction disputes (for both homeowners and contractors), and landlord/tenant issues. We also do "simple" estate planning (for people with total Probate assets under $1,000,000). Almost everybody should take advantage of this low cost type of estate planning. We have been located at 56 Maine Street in Brunswick since 1993. Sharon Greene serves as paralegal assistant, receptionist/secretary and anchor-to-windward, and Rylie P. Dog and Tucker K. Dog still put in the occasional appearance. Mr. Pols is retiring from the active practice of law and is now "of counsel" to the firm.

This is a general practice of law with a concentration in the area of Family Law. This means that we primarily handle divorces, parental rights and responsibility actions, post-Judgment modification cases involving support and "custody", guardianship and adoptions.
